Surprise Win For Ferrari At Bahrain

Ferrari took an unexpected double podium finish at the Bahrain Grand Prix with Charles Leclerc winning the race and his teammate Carlos Sainz coming in second, with Lewis Hamilton taking a modest third.

Ferrari have been struggling since the start of the 2020-2021 season to both finish and qualify but if their double podium in Bahrain tells us anything, it's that they're back on top.

This victory has been slightly overshadowed by the double DNF for Red Bull due to engine failure for both the new world champion Max Verstappen and his teammate Sergio Perez, Max Verstappen was furious and complained that “This shouldn't've happened”.

Ferrari holds 31 titles and over 1,000 race starts, making them one of the most successful F1 Teams of all time.

They have had some of the best F1 drivers in the sports history.

These include Michael Schumacher, Alberto Ascari, Juan Fangio, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, and the late great Niki Lauda.

Throughout those years, Ferrari has had ups and downs but many consider the 2020-2021 season to be their worst season yet.

If Bahrain is a sign that they're truly back in their element and not just a one off victory for the struggling team, it will surely unfold over the course of the 2022-2023 season.
