Miami: Beaches, women, Miami Vice, drugs, and now F1.
F1
has been striding to make a comeback in America since the botched
2005 US Grand Prix during the tyre war between Michelin and
Bridgestone, first with Texas and now having circuits in Las Vegas
and Miami.
Max
Verstappen's Red Bull and Charles Leclerc's Ferrari duked it out in
the Miami heat, and the Dutchman was awarded 1st place for
his efforts, whilst Leclerc and his teammate Carlos Sainz Jr came 2nd
and 3rd respectively.
Lewis
Hamilton came in an unexpected 6th place, which is off par
for the 7 time world champion.
Leaving
many to doubt Hamilton's future in the sport, ever since the
controversial finish in Bahrain last season, where Max Verstappen snatched away
Lewis Hamilton's 8th world title by shady but legal means.
