A statue of 1973 FA Cup winning Sunderland manager Bob Stokoe was defiled by a Newcastle fan's golden shower, police announced.
The
21 year old fan was arrested after viral videos of him urinating on
the statue went viral on Instagram and YouTube, fellow Newcastle fans
commented on the videos stating “Our boy's taking the piss on
Stokoes!”
Police
have curtained off the 2006 statue outside the Stadium of Light, and
a full investigation into the incident is taking place.
