7 time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has pledged a £10 Million ($13 Million) bid to become a co-owner of Chelsea FC after it's owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned following the invasion of Ukraine 2 months ago.
Hamilton
famously is an Arsenal fan, along with American tennis star Serena
Williams, have backed Sir Martin Broughton's bid to buy the football
club from the Russian oligarch, both Hamilton and Williams would be
co-owners under Sir Broughton if successful.
Chelsea is slated to face West Ham on Sunday.
Hamilton stated: "i have always wanted to get into football, and i think now is the right time".
