Derby Rams Relegated From Champions League To League 1

The former Champions League team Derby County have been relegated to the lower League 1 as the ownership of the Rams and Pride Park are still up for grabs.

Derby hasn't been in League 1 since 1986, which is the third tier of the English Football League.

American businessman Chris Kirchner has been confirmed as the preferred buyer by Wayne Rooney, but nothing has been promised.

Fans are still optimistic as the struggling team tries to sort out financial woes revealed during the pandemic.

The Rams have been at risk of going under through out the entire 200 days they've been under administration after being abandoned by former owner Mel Morris.
