55 year old boxing icon Mike Tyson was captured in a video taken on an air plane violently beating a man after the unruly passenger threw a water bottle at him.

Iron Mike inflicted serious facial injuries to the man who had to be taken off the plane draped in a blood soaked towel.

The man, who hasn't been named, was reported to have been taunting Mr Tyson throughout San Francisco International Airport and on the former boxer's flight to Florida.

He was also drunk, unaware exactly who he'd been harassing.

Mike Tyson was arrested by SFPD but was later let go.

The Punch Out icon had been in the city to promote his cannabis brand Tyson 2.0.

Recreational Marijuana is legal in the US state of California.

The drunk man was also arrested by police, but didn't co-operate with authorities.

No charges have been pressed by either party.
