Bayern Munich may be preparing to strengthen their defence this summer, with Harry Kane reportedly encouraging England teammate — and long-time Liverpool target — Marc Guéhi to make the move to Bavaria. Guéhi, currently a standout performer at Crystal Palace, is regarded as one of the most sought-after defenders in Europe. His contract runs until 2026, allowing clubs to open negotiations with him from next month. As a potential free transfer, the 25-year-old is expected to attract significant interest from top sides across the continent.

Until recently, Bayern had not been strongly linked with signing a centre-back. However, with growing speculation around Nico Schlotterbeck in the German media, the club appears to be evaluating defensive options — particularly if Dayot Upamecano’s future becomes uncertain.
