Leaders eyeing for various political seats are maneuvering across the country hunting for for votes as August approaches. Major contenders of the presidential race are ODM party leader Raila who is the Azimio la Umoja Flag bearer and United Democratic Alliance(UDA) founder William Ruto
Mt Kenya has been turned into a battleground as it is greatly going to determine whom the fifth president will be. Ruto have received a huge support for the mountain after various political incumbents the likes of Moses Kuria, Susan Kihika, Rigathi Gachagua vows to support his presidential bid.
But it seems that tables are turning upside down for William Ruto and his allies after latest news that have emerged. Numerous Supporters of Gatundu South Member of Parliament, Moses Kuria has defected to Jubilee party after listening to the ground. This news have been confirmed by Kieni Member of Parliament Kanini Kega
Welcoming the new members including Naomi Kiambu deputy governor who has come with their supporters from Chama Cha Kazi(CCK) Moses Kuria's party, Kanini Kega has dismissed allegations that Jubilee party was becoming in unpopular with people claiming UDA and CCK parties were dominating the mountain.
As per now Jubilee has more aspirants in various positions compared to UDA in the region and this is a clear indication of hardwork jubilee party is doing in the Mt Kenya ahead of August. Director of elections Kanini Kega has also made it publicly that they will issuing direct tickets to those candidates who are popular and also to fund their campaigns. He has announced that their supporters should not forget that Raila Odinga is their presidential candidate urging everybody to vote for him. After listening to the ground he has given assurity that their is no doubt in Raila Odinga winning the upcoming august polls with over 12million votes since he has received a massive support all over the country
Among leaders also working tirelessly to ensure that Raila Odinga's Popularity in Mt Kenya increases are Peter Munya, Kiraitu Murungi, Narc Party leader Raila Odinga and The chief campaign strategies and party leader of Jubilee President Uhuru Kenyatta.
