Prime minister Boris Johnson and chancellor of the exchequer Rishi Sunak have been reviled as two individuals fined for attending lock-down parties, with Boris Johnson being the first serving prime minister to be charged with breaking the law.
Both Boris and Rishi have apologized and have paid their fines in full, but the opposition wishes for the two to resign entirely for the incident.
Labour and the Lib-Dems have accused Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak of lying to the public ans breaking the ministerial code, with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer and the first ministers of Wales and Scotland being the biggest voices yelling toward Number 10 and Number 11 to pack up and leave.
Northern Ireland has yet to weigh in on this news.
Many of the
Conservatives in West Minister have been loyal to Boris and Rishi,
with the acceptation of Nigel Mills, who reckons that Boris's
position is now untenable.
