The Repair Shop's host Jay Blades was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Prince Charles for promoting sustainability on the BBC since 2017.

The 52 year old who has dyslexia, was honored to be made an MBE by the Prince of Whales.

Mr Blades hosts The Repair Shop, Money for Nothing, and Jay Blades Home Fix: All 3 shows aimed to promote sustainability and prevent wasting useful items. 

Jay Blades joins other recipients of the MBE including singer Ed Sheeran, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, and England National Football Team's assistant manager Steve Holland to name a few.
