Former Oasis guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, has been diagnosed with Tonsil Cancer.

His Twitter account played host to a new message from the guitarist, detailing how he's in hospital undergoing treatment.

Both Noel and Liam Gallagher, who along with Arthurs founded Oasis in 1991, sent their best wishes to their former bandmate who left Oasis in 1999 following the Gallagher's notorious fights getting out of hand and a failed chart war with rival Brit-Pop band The Blur.

Fellow former Oasis member Andy Bell posted “Get well soon Bonehead”.
