Martin Roberts, 1/3^rd of the hosts on BBC's Homes Under The Hammer, has been undergoing emergency heart surgery after suffering from chest pain.

The popular presenter and host was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath and is recovering from surgery.

He made a video for social media in his hospital room stating: “The doctor had given me hours to live if I didn't have the surgery, I hope he was successful as I continue treatment at the hospital here in Bath”.

Martin Roberts before being hospitalized had taken part in driving aid convoys from England to the Polish-Ukraine border to raise awareness of the Ukrainian Refugee Crisis.
