Tom Parker, lead singer of the band wanted, has died at the age of 33 from brain cancer.
The singer told fans in October of 2020 that he had a inoperable brain tumor and wanted to spend his last years making music and sharing it with the world.
The Wanted formed in 2009, with Tom Parker, Max George, Siva Kaneswaren, Nathan Sykes, and Jay McGuinness.
They had two hit singles: Glad You Came and All Time Low, with 8 other top 10 singles including Chasing The Sun, Heart Vacancy, and Lighting.
The Wanted had done a concert at London's Royal Albert Hall for Stand Up To Cancer, before Parker updated fans saying that “My tumor is now stable and under control”.
Singer Ed Sheeran posted his condolences on Instagram and Martin Kemp of Spandau Ballet did the same in Twitter.
His death in the face of seemingly well recovery was devastating to fans, musicians, The Wanted themselves, and Parker's wife and two kids.
