The Airliner Stated That: "It's To Prevent Mass Chaos From Taking Over Our Terminals At Heathrow And Gatwick Airports".

British Airways (BA) have announced today that they'll be cancelling over 10% of their summer flights, a profitable time for most airlines.

BA is one of the worst hit by staff shortages and strikes, following the Covid-19 Pandemic and the current cost of living crisis.

A BA spokesman stated that: “We're taking preemptive action to prevent mass disruption and confusion for passengers, who may try to book summer getaways this August.

As the entire aviation industry continues to face the most challenging period in it's history, regrettably it has become necessary to make further reductions.

We wish for a easy and streamlined service at our Heathrow and Gatwick terminals, and are terribly sorry in advance for any inconveniences caused”.

BA has cancelled over 650 flights to popular summer destinations like Spain, Portugal, Greece, the US, and Egypt.

Affecting over 100,000 flyers and holiday seekers.
