Lead Singer Of The Rolling Stones Sir Mick Jagger Tests Positive For Covid-19
Sir Mick Jagger of pioneering rock and rock group The Rolling Stones has announced to fans and the world that he has Covid-19, testing positive before their performance at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The
show has been rescheduled, but all ticket stubs for the postponed
event are still valid.
The
band's spokesman stated that: “The Rolling Stones have been forced
to call off tonight's concert in Amsterdam at the Johan Cruijff
Arena, following Sir Mick Jagger testing positive for the Covid-19
virus.
The
Rolling Stones are deeply sorry for tonight's postponement”.
Jagger
tweeted: “I'm so sorry that we've had to postpone the Amsterdam
show with such short notice tonight.
I
have unfortunately tested positive for Covid, we aim to reschedule
the date ASAP and will get back as soon as we can.
