As NHS Approval Dwindles, Britons Are Switching To Private Healthcare

The long NHS waiting lists have led to people in constant pain to go private, and others are going private too in order to avoid the 2-3 year backlog.

Across England roughly 6 Million people have been waiting for surgery and hospital care, 23,000 have been reported to have waited for 2 years, and an elderly woman has been waiting for 6 whole years.

Due to the long waiting times, the people's satisfaction for the NHS has shrunk dramatically and private healthcare applications have soared since 2019.

A majority of people going private are those with cancer and arthritis, who couldn't afford to wait or keep waiting.
