Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Stated In An Interview That He'd Come Close To Being Captured Early In The War

Ukraine's beloved wartime president Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed that he was almost captured not once but twice during the first day of the Russian invasion 2 months ago.

Zelensky stated that: “Russian troops made two attempts to breach my presidential compound, whilst my family and I were inside.

I did not know if they wanted to take me prisoner or kill me and/or my family, and frankly I do no not want to know what they would've done if they had breached the compound's defenses.

I was very fearful for myself and my family that day”.

Zelensky has been praised by the free world for his resilience against the Russians led by Vladimir Putin that has relentlessly caused the deaths, injuries, and displacements of millions of Ukrainians.
