This season has been a very tough season for many managers across Europe. However, despite the difficulty, some managers have run through the hurdles and have performed excellently in Europe. In this article, we shall briefly look at the 5 best performing managers in Europe.

5. Antonio Conte: Tottenham Hotspur manager, Antonio Conte is undoubtedly one of the best-performing coaches in Europe. Conte arrived earlier this season and met a Spurs side which had been performing poorly and had not qualified for something major in the past two seasons. However, after his takeover, things have changed and currently the Italian has 61 points in the EPL and sits 5th place, with 2 points behind 4th placed Arsenal. Should Arsenal lose a game and Spurs gain 3 points, they'll be on their way to the UEFA Champions League.

4. Erik ten Hag: Ajax's manager and soon-to-be Manchester United boss at the beginning of the new football campaign, Erik ten Hag has been sensational this season. Although falling out in the early stages of the Champions League, Erik ten Hag put that behind and channeled his energy to win the Eredivisie. His side has been the best team attacking-wise and defensive-wise in Europe this season, scoring 89 goals in 31 matches and conceding just 15 in the process.

3. Jose Mourinho: Roma Boss Jose Mourinho has been very impressive in Roma's run in the Italian Serie A and the UEFA European Conference League. Jose has helped Roma secure a spot in the Europa League and is focused on winning the Conference League after carefully guiding them to the finals. 

2. Carlo Ancelotti: Since his arrival at the beginning of the season, Carlo Ancelotti has brought stability back to Madrid and has aided Madrid in winning their 35th La Liga title. Also, Ancelotti has had an impressive run in the Champions League, leading Madrid to the finals and having their eyes set on a possible 14th UEFA Champions League trophy. 

1. Jurgen Klopp: There is no doubt that Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp has been the best performing manager in Europe. Jurgen started off the season brilliantly and is still going well as his side looks to win a quadruple this footballing campaign. With just a point behind league leaders City and in the finals of the UEFA Champions League, Klopp is confident that he can achieve that feat with his side.
