A plaque honoring the victim of the what is widely considered the first act of police murdering a black man in the UK, was stolen by an unknown individual mere hours after it's unveiling.
Nigerian
born Leeds resident David Oluwale was murdered by local police in
1969, following a clash with two officers that got deadly.
West
Yorkshire Police have launched a hunt for the stolen plaque as a new
one is being made to replace the one stolen.
