People living in the city of Nottingham, Haydn Road, Mansfield Road, Woodthorpe, and the Sherwood Vale areas have the highest number of new cases of Coronavirus in the East Midlands, says NHS reports.
The number of daily infections increased dramatically after the remaining Covid restrictions in England were lifted in February.
The pandemic is not over and how the virus develops overtime is uncertain, Covid still poses a threat to many across the UK, particularly as the NHS gets overwhelmed again and peoples existing jabs get weaker in it's capability to stop infection.
Hence why it's why it's still advised to wear one in crowded areas or when in enclosed areas like shops or cinemas, keeping indoor spaces well ventilated, and isolating yourself from those infected.
On April 3rd, nearly 70,000 people in the UK got Covid, nearly 1,000 of them were in the Nottingham City area.
