Appointments Suspended At University Of Southampton Hospital After Coronavirus Outbreak In The Building

The University Hospital in Southampton has declared that visitors are no longer allowed on site as an outbreak has occurred in the hospital.

The news comes as nearly 5 Million people in Britain tested positive (1 in every 13 people) for Covid-19.

Due to the hospital being overcrowded with patients, the virus spread like wildfire among patients and staff alike.

Any visitor(s) wishing to see family at the Covid ridden hospital must have just cause to do so.

A spokesman from the hospital said: “We will only allow visitors under compassionate, exceptional, or specific circumstances”.

These restrictions to visitors will be in place until further notice.
