Pizza Hut May Have To Increase Prices As The Cost Of Ingredients Rise Due To Fuel Shortages

Pizza Hut UK's boss Neil Manhas has said that the company is doing all it can to shield customers from having to pay the cost of rising prices for ingredients like flower and pork.

The American pizza company is one of many dealing with rising costs of food as trucks and farming equipment are affected by the rise in oil and petrol prices.

“This problem is exacerbated by the war in Ukraine”, Manhas stated.

He went on to say that: “The biggest issues we have are getting the best quality ingredients cheap and efficiently, and staff absences”.

Pizza Hut has been struggling to hire delivery drivers, leading to slow delivery times that makes for upset customers.
