Multiple Russian individuals have sued streaming conglomerate Netflix for abandoning their customers, after they exited the Russian market in protest of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The individuals in question are demanding 60 Million Rubles ($726,000 or £560,000) in compensation, for not refunding ex-Russian customers after they announced that they'd be leaving Russia.
Netflix made a statement saying: “We suspended any and all media streams and future projects in Russia as a way for us to tell Moscow that we didn't approve their invasion of their sovereign neighbor Ukraine”.
